eLearning
eLearning at the RUB is not intended to replace "real-life" teaching, but to complement it sensibly. It helps increase flexibility in terms of both time and space. Students can access course contents, process work and talk to fellow students - also from home - at any time and anywhere over the internet. And because of its diversity of formats, eLearning also makes studying more exciting.
eLearning also makes it even easier to study at the Ruhr Metropolis University Alliance universities. With RuhrCampusOnline, you can practically take the three universities home with you.
eLearning at the RUB also contains, in addition to learning platforms such as Blackboard, services such as RUBCast: here you can listen to and see lectures again at any time, for example to prepare for tests.
In addition, ideas from students are also required in eLearning: students, as eTutors, help their teachers and lecturers to implement their ideas online. In the 5x5000 competition, students and lecturers are both asked to submit new eLearning ideas, and the best ones can be implemented with the prize money.
